Here at VTS we provide virtual tour photography. Object photography and video production.
Firstly the quickest and cheapest way to create 360 degree images is by using a single shot lens that captures the whole image on to one frame/photo. These panoramas have a limited top and bottom view but a full 360 horizontal view. By capturing the image in one shot there will always be issues with differing exposures from different areas. For example if your were taking an internal shot of a property you may have extremely high levels of light from a window and darker interiors. The camera can not expose properly to all areas. This can be remedied to a point in image rendering software or multiple exposures which are then blended together to over come this. So it is important to consider times of day and internal lighting when using a single shot lens. The single shot lens does have some advantages of multiple stitching of images mainly when you are shooting movement. These images are perfectly good for most applications and are cheaper to produce. These types of VTs start from €75 depending on location for one and then if at the same location then a further €10 euros per image.
Secondly and for larger higher quality panoramic images we use a fisheye lens and shoot 4 separate images to create a full spherical image. These are then stitched and blended together to create a larger image. These VTs can be displayed in full screen mode. Our prices for full spherical panoramas start from just €125 again depending on location and then a further €20 per image. These images can be displayed as larger views click here to see an example
